Traveling

Los Angeles

On my first road trip in the USA I went to Los Angeles with my host family. It was always my dream to visit this city and it was totally worth it. Our first stop was the Santa Monica Pier. We walked until the end of the pier and obviously stopped at the end of Route 66. Then we spent a couple of hours at Venice Beach and after that we visited the Walk of Fame. We walked down the street and I got to see the star from Michael Jackson and Disney. It was incredible and I just love this city.

Yellowstone National Park

On my second road trip we drove to the Yellowstone National Park in Montana. We had a little cabin over the weekend and just slept there because during the day we were busy driving through the Park and looking at all the amazing things. We saw a lot of buffalos and we even got to see a moose. That was cool and the moose was just standing a couple of meters from me away. These animals are huge! I enjoyed the weekend with my host family and I will never forget this weekend.

Portland

The days before Christmas I went to Portland with my host family. We went Christmas shopping and visited family who lives in Portland. We walked around the city and the lights and decorations were immaculate. Everything looked perfect and this weekend was just amazing. I defenitly wanna go there again.

Sequoia National Park

The Sequoia National Park was also a drive worth it. The trees there are huge as you can see in the picture. It was hot when we visited this park, so it was perfect that the trees provided shade. It was also possible to walk through some of the trees because they had holes at the bottom, that was pretty crazy. I can only recommend a visit because there are not a lot of places on our globe with such a natural wonder like this.
